Who was Brayden?

Brayden Lynn Giambalvo was born on February 8, 2008—eight weeks early and full of fight. After 26 days in the NICU, Brayden passed away due to Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC). His short life sparked a lifelong calling for his family: to make sure no parent walks the NICU journey alone. From years of fundraising with the March of Dimes to opening the doors of The Brayden House, Brayden’s story continues to fuel a mission of compassion, hospitality, and hope for families facing their hardest days.

Brayden’s Legacy.

Brayden’s 26 days on earth changed the lives of everyone who loved him—and now his story changes the lives of families facing their own battles. The Brayden House is a living legacy of his life, his strength, and the love that continues in his name.

Our Mission.
We serve families walking the NICU journey by providing free housing, meals, and support rooted in compassion and dignity. The Brayden House is a place where fear is met with comfort, exhaustion is met with rest, and no parent faces their child’s fight alone. Inspired by the life of Brayden Lynn Giambalvo, we are committed to caring for families with the same love we showed him.

Our Vision.
We strive to create a community where every NICU family has immediate, free, and compassionate support during their child’s most critical days. We aim to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and ensure that love is the foundation of every service we provide.

Our future.
Become debt free by paying off the house as well as the adjacent empty lot to secure long-term expansion potential. Continue fundraising to establish a designated savings fund to assist bereaved families with end-of-life expenses. Explore building tiny homes or additional units on the adjacent lot to increase the capacity to serve more NICU families simultaneously and develop a scalable model for future Brayden House locations.
